TravAlarm - Smart Transit App & Interactive Map for Subway Bus Train app for iPhone and iPad

TravAlarm is a smart journey planner and interactive NYC subway map that shows delays visually. We replaced the static New York Subway map with a simple, accurate subway map where you can view service updates and stops seamlessly, right on the map. You can move forward in time to see delays and service changes at different times with the day, late night and weekend modes.

Gone are the days when you forgot to leave on time or didn’t find out about delays until you got to the station. Add alerts to your favourite subway lines and TravAlarm will tell you when disruptions happen on them and when they clear.

TravAlarm plugs into your calendar to see where your next meeting is and automatically plans the journeys to them. It then alerts you when you need to leave and when we detect a delay that affects you. That will mean that you always get to your next meeting on time and also lets you make alternate travel plans before it’s too late!

You can also track your journey and be notified on when to get off at the bus stop so you never have to miss the stop. TravAlarm will only use background location / GPS when this tracking feature is enabled. Disable to stop tracking since continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
